Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter – the “Terms”) set out the conditions for purchasing goods in the online store www.soliducosmetics.com.

1.2. The online store is operated by Shapemetics, UAB. Email – hello@soliducosmetics.com.

1.3. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.

1.4. The contract is considered concluded when the Buyer pays for the order and receives an order confirmation by email.

 

2. Products and Their Characteristics

2.1. The main characteristics of each product are indicated in the product description.

2.2. The Seller makes efforts to ensure that products are described accurately and comprehensively.

2.3. Product color or appearance may slightly differ because the products are handmade and due to the Buyer’s device screen settings.

 

3. Prices and Payment

3.1. All prices are indicated in euros and include VAT.

3.2. Delivery costs are indicated before completing payment for the order.

3.3. The Buyer may pay using online banking, payment card, PayPal, or other payment methods indicated in the online store.

 

4. Delivery

4.1. Products are delivered within the Republic of Lithuania and to other countries indicated in the online store.

4.2. Order dispatch time is 1–14 business days. Delivery time depends on courier services.

4.3. Information regarding collection and delivery is provided by the courier.

4.4. The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to the Buyer at the moment the goods are handed over.

 

5. Right of Withdrawal from a Distance Contract

5.1. The consumer has the right, without giving any reason, to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day of receiving the goods.

5.2. The deadline is met if the consumer sends the notice of withdrawal by email to hello@soliducosmetics.com before the expiry of the 14-day period.

5.3. The consumer must send the goods to the Seller no later than 14 calendar days from notifying about the withdrawal.

5.4. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods, except where defective goods are returned.

5.5. Returned goods must be undamaged, with the protective seal intact, and in the original packaging.

5.6. If the protective seal is damaged, removed, or otherwise compromised, the product is considered unsealed.

5.7. The Seller shall reimburse all payments received, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 calendar days from receiving the withdrawal notice.

5.8. The Seller may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or proof of shipment is provided, whichever occurs first.

5.9. If the consumer chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard option, additional costs are not reimbursed.

5.10. Refunds are made using the same payment method unless that method is objectively unavailable or the consumer expressly agrees to another method, without additional cost to the consumer.

 

6. Defective Goods (Cosmetic Products)

6.1. The Seller is responsible for ensuring that cosmetic products conform to the contract at the time of delivery, are safe, and comply with legal requirements.

6.2. A product is defective if it has manufacturing defects, is contaminated, is expired at delivery, does not match its description, or cannot be used for its usual purpose.

6.3. Individual reactions (e.g., skin sensitivity or allergic reaction), where the product complies with safety and composition requirements, are not considered defects.

6.4. The Seller is not responsible for changes or deterioration resulting from improper storage, handling, or use after delivery.

6.5. The consumer may submit claims regarding non-conformity within 2 years from delivery, provided the defect existed at delivery.

6.6. Cosmetic products are subject to expiry dates and/or period-after-opening (PAO) indications stated on the packaging.

6.7. The Seller is not responsible for deterioration due to expiry, use beyond PAO, improper storage, or improper use.

6.8. If a product does not conform, the consumer may request replacement, proportional price reduction, or contract termination with refund.

6.9. The Seller bears the cost of returning defective goods.

 

7. Complaints Handling

7.1. Complaints may be submitted by email to hello@soliducosmetics.com.

7.2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, the consumer may contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, A. Goštauto g. 12, 01108 Vilnius, email: tarnyba@vvtat.lt, tel. +370 5 262 67 60, website: https://vvtat.lrv.lt. Complaints may also be submitted via the Consumer Rights Information System (VTIS).

 

8. Final Provisions

8.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

8.2. Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiations; failing agreement, they shall be resolved in accordance with Lithuanian law.
