While drinking water is becoming scarce, it remains the most common ingredient in many cosmetic products. SOLIDU bars are waterless, and each bar saves an average of 239.5 grams of water.
BIODEGRADABLE INGREDIENTS
Our solid bars are packaged in backyard compostable boxes,
which biodegrade in just 45 days. You can plant the box in your garden or compost it at home. Our paper tubes are entirely plastic-free and should be recycled with paper. Each SOLIDU bar helps prevent around 28.4 grams of plastic waste!

Backyard compostable Box
NATURAL & SAFE
SOLIDU packaging is plastic-free and paper-free: it’s produced from starch, bamboo, and charcoal. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on earth, growing up to metre per day. To make this box, bamboo is processed together with natural starch. The material is dyed with charcoal without using synthetic dyes.
UPCYCLED
To produce SOLIDU box, bamboo offcuts from the production of bamboo chopsticks are used instead of a virgin bamboo.
COMPOSTABLE
The box can be backyard composted and biodegrades in 45 days. It can even be useful for the soil, as starch is a soil nutrient.
PACKAGING END-OF-LIFE
We advise tearing off the paper labels and putting them into recycling bin with paper. They are completely plastic-free, however, the compostable box will biodegrade faster without the paper labels. Put the packaging in the compost bin or in the soil. Do not throw away the box into the garbage bin. If it ends up in the landfill, it will take much longer to biodegrade than in compost or soil.

Step 1: Wet your hair and the shampoo bar. Lather the bar in your hands, then apply it directly to your hair, massaging thoroughly. Rinse well. Repeat if needed.
Step 2: If your hair needs extra care, follow with a conditioner bar.
Step 3: Store the shampoo bar in a dry place between uses. Avoid placing a wet bar inside the compostable box.
Step 4: Remove the labels and recycle them with paper. The natural box can be composted in your backyard or placed in a compost bin.
