Step 1: For best results, apply after a shower on warm, slightly damp skin. Reapply as needed throughout the day.
Step 2: Gently glide the bar across your skin; it will melt on contact. Spread the melted butter evenly with your hands. Since the body butter is very rich, start with a small amount.
Step 3: Store the bar in the compostable box it arrives in or in a SOLIDU cork case to keep it dry and protected.
Step 4: Remove the labels and recycle them with paper. The natural box is backyard compostable and can be placed in the ground or in a compost bin.

One of the switches I've found more difficult is body moisturizer, so I was over the moon to discover this new offering from @soliducosmetics: IT'S THYME solid body butter. I've actually not started using mine yet, but it smells divine, clean and fresh and delightful. One of the things I love about all the SOLIDU products is the compostable packaging. They're intended to break down in a home compost bin and I've been pleased to see that the packaging from my charcoal and tea tree cleansing bar has already started to disintegrate where I've got it wet a few times.

I got a sample size of this item and I really love the scent of it! And the conditioner bar really feels smooth and luxe, not as dry as some schampo/conditioner bars tend to be. It really was a joy to work this into my hair! It was easy to rinse and it was perfect to leave just a small amount as a leave-in conditioner which left my hair really smooth and shiny. I have Asian, coarse, slightly wavy hair and my primary objective is to reduce the frizziness and increase shine. This item really did the trick! Backyard compostable Box
NATURAL & SAFE
SOLIDU packaging is plastic-free and paper-free: it’s produced from starch, bamboo, and charcoal. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on earth, growing up to metre per day. To make this box, bamboo is processed together with natural starch. The material is dyed with charcoal without using synthetic dyes.
UPCYCLED
To produce SOLIDU box, bamboo offcuts from the production of bamboo chopsticks are used instead of a virgin bamboo.
COMPOSTABLE
The box can be backyard composted and biodegrades in 45 days. It can even be useful for the soil, as starch is a soil nutrient.
PACKAGING END-OF-LIFE
We advise tearing off the paper labels and putting them into recycling bin with paper. They are completely plastic-free, however, the compostable box will biodegrade faster without the paper labels. Put the packaging in the compost bin or in the soil. Do not throw away the box into the garbage bin. If it ends up in the landfill, it will take much longer to biodegrade than in compost or soil.
