How to use solid shampoo
Step 1: Wet your hair and the shampoo bar. Lather the bar in your hands, then apply it directly to your hair, massaging thoroughly. Rinse well. Repeat if needed.
Step 2: If your hair needs extra care, follow with a conditioner bar.
Step 3: Store the shampoo bar in a dry place between uses. Avoid placing a wet bar inside the compostable box.
Step 4: Remove the labels and recycle them with paper. The natural box can be composted in your backyard or placed in a compost bin.

I really love the products and here are few of the of the reasons:
- No plastic and compostable packaging.
- They really are full of goodness and nothing else - my hair feels, smells, and looks great
-They are the right balance between being solid but letting enough foam form for the shampoo and enough moisture to come out of the conditioner (some I've tried are just hard and you don't really get that luxurious foamy feel)
- They are also somehow decorative because of their shape and colours
-They are travel friendly - you don't run the risk of liquid leaking everywhere and they are compact

These are hands down the best solid shampoos and conditioners I have ever tried. The scents are unbelievably great, they work better than any bottled shampoo or conditioner, and each one lasts for several months. One year, I had the same conditioner bar for over 6 months and it never turned into mush. Also, my hair was in much better condition until I ran out of SOLIDU. Just wanted to comment so that people know the quality is worth the price. You can probably make it through most of the year with just 2 shampoo bars and one conditioner bar.

Backyard compostable Box
NATURAL & SAFE
SOLIDU packaging is plastic-free and paper-free: it’s produced from starch, bamboo, and charcoal. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on earth, growing up to metre per day. To make this box, bamboo is processed together with natural starch. The material is dyed with charcoal without using synthetic dyes.
UPCYCLED
To produce SOLIDU box, bamboo offcuts from the production of bamboo chopsticks are used instead of a virgin bamboo.
COMPOSTABLE
The box can be backyard composted and biodegrades in 45 days. It can even be useful for the soil, as starch is a soil nutrient.
PACKAGING END-OF-LIFE
We advise tearing off the paper labels and putting them into recycling bin with paper. They are completely plastic-free, however, the compostable box will biodegrade faster without the paper labels. Put the packaging in the compost bin or in the soil. Do not throw away the box into the garbage bin. If it ends up in the landfill, it will take much longer to biodegrade than in compost or soil.

SOLIDU shampoos last as long as, or even longer than, a bottle of liquid shampoo—typically around 30 to 50 washes. Each bar is small but highly concentrated, so results may vary based on individual hair needs. To make your products last, we recommend letting them dry between uses. Avoid storing them in the shower, and keep them in a dry place on one of our natural luffa holders or in a SOLIDU cork case, which is perfect for protecting and extending the life of your bars. This tip also applies to our conditioners, soaps, and body butters.
